Thank you - I’m honoured you’re taking the time to read more about me - an ordinary girl with a profound passion to educate women on the importance of style and its positive, life-changing effect.
I was born and raised in South Africa. After living in Qatar for six years, my husband and I, with our two children, settled in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Back in South Africa I started my career with Beiersdorf where I worked as Brand Manager for NIVEA. This powerhouse world-class skin care brand taught me everything about managing and growing a successful global brand. I’m still a huge NIVEA fan. After six years, I resigned from Beiersdorf to follow my husband’s career opportunity in Qatar.
In 2011 I pursued my dream and formalised my knowledge and love for style by becoming a qualified Image Consultant accredited by AICI (Association of Image Consultants International), and founded Styleworx in Doha, Qatar.

I knew I’d found my life’s passion by helping women from diverse cultures discover their personal style.

Nerine-Jones-Personal-Stylist — In 2017, an amazing opportunity brought us to Amsterdam. We arrived with brave hearts filled with hope. It was a rollercoaster beginning. Although it was my second expatriate experience, it didn’t make it easier. We loved the beautiful green trees and fresh air after the hot Doha desert but found the cold and rainy days challenging with two small children. Apart from learning to ride a “bakfiets”, speak Dutch and adjust to the weather, I had to update and reorganise our wardrobes to suit the climate and culture. My head was spinning with questions. I needed an instant “how-to-do-it-here” guide. The learning curve was steep and I often felt frustrated. I had to dig deep to find courage, strength and faith to find my joy.
After a season of self-discovery and mastering the “how-tos” of my new lifestyle, I decided to share my journey with like minded women and re-launched Styleworx as nerinejones.com. More personal and more universal. My aim is to teach women the principles of style to set them free from the frustration of not knowing what to wear.
